CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-142 <br /> <br />APPROVING CHANGING THE "YIELD" SIGN ON SPRING STREET <br />AT RAILROAD AVENUE TO A STOP SIGN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 9, 1977, the City Council received <br />and discussed a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities related to the problems of traffic in the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. <br />76-79 to establish a stop sign on Spring Street at Railroad <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection 3s-2 as follows: <br /> <br />"3s-2 Spring Street, at Railroad Avenue; stopping <br /> traffic on Spring Street." <br /> <br />Section 2.
