CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-168 <br /> <br />RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO SLAVO <br />RIGISICH FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HARRIS ACRES WATER <br />LINE IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 77-3. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />Harris Acres Water Line Improvements, Project No. 77-3; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code #37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Department advertised for bids <br />regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at their meeting of June 13, 1977 reviewed <br />the bids received and determined that the bid of Slavo <br />Rigisich was the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said bid was higher than the amount previously budgeted for <br /> this project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. The bid of Slavo Rigisich in the amount of $81,236.00 <br />for the construction of the Harris Acres Water Line <br />Improvements, Project No. 77-3 is hereby accepted by <br />City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> Stavo Rigisich for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3. The Finance officer is authorized to allocate additional <br /> Housing and Community Development funds to complete this <br /> project. <br /> <br />Section 4.
