CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-167 <br /> <br />RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR CON- <br />TROLLERS FOR MAIN STREET TRAFFIC SIGNALS TO DATA <br />COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The City prepared plans and specifications for two signal <br />controllers to be used in the signalization on Main Street; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code #37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Department advertised for bids <br />regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Data Communications Systems, Inc. in the amount <br /> of $8,980.32 was the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. The bid of Data Communications Systems, Inc. in the <br />amount of $8,980.32 for two signal controllers to be used <br />in the signalization of Main Street is hereby accepted <br />by City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> Data Communications Systems, Inc. for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JUNE 13, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes,.H rlihy~ LeClaire~ Mercer and <br /> <br />NOES: None Mayor Phil ox <br />ABSENT: None ~p <br /> R .
