CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-166 <br /> <br />RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF THREE VEHICLES TO DUNN CHEVROLET. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Three vehicles were authorized for purchase this fiscal <br /> year for the Field Services Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code #37900, et seq., the City <br /> solicited bids for this purchase; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Dunn Chevrolet was the lowest responsible bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dunn Chevrolet in the amount of $16,502.84 <br />for the purchase by the City of two half-ton pickups and <br />one three-fourth ton four-wheel drive pickup is hereby <br />accepted by City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2. The City is authorized to purchase the three vehicles <br />described in Section 1 above from Dunn Chevrolet for <br />the Public Works Field Services Department. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JUNE 13, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> <br />NOES: None Mayor Philcox <br /> <br /> ROBERT C.
