CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-161 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR DATA PROCESSING SERVICES WITH OPTIMUM SYSTEMS, INC. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has been receiving computer services from Optimum Systems, Inc. (O.S.I.) since October, 1970; and WHEREAS, the original contract expired several years ago and O.S.I. has continued to provide the services without a formal agree- ment; and WHEREAS, during budget sessions for the 1977-78 fiscal year, it was determined that it would be desireable, as well as more economical to the City, to enter into a three-year agreement with O.S.I., Inc. for the provision of data processing ser- vices, including utility billing, financial system, payroll and animal licenses; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 13, 1977, reviewed and approved a report dated June 8, 1977 from the Assistant to the City Manager, Jim Walker, recommending the approval of a three-year agreement with O.S.I., Inc. for the provis- ion of these services. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authorizes the appropriate City officers to enter into a three-year agreement with O.S.I., Inc. for the provision by that firm to the City of Pleasanton of data processing ser- vices, which include utility billing, financial system, pay- roll and animal licenses. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
