CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-200 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST FOR A TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE TO 8.34 ACRE SITE ON CRELLIN ROAD WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provides water services to resi- dents of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, Section 2-16.26 of Article 1, Chapter 9, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton allows the City Council upon application and good cause to allow exceptions to the requirements of the water system regulations of Article 1, Chapter 9, Title II of the Ordinance Code; and WHEREAS, Section 2-16.04 of Article 1, Chapter 9, Title II of the Ordinance Code provides the City Council with discretion to allow water services to be made available to other territory other than the City and other than areas within the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Beratlis requested permission to establish water service for a single-family home to be located on an 8.34 acre site north of Crellin Road in the unincorporated area adjacent to the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney's Office prepared an agreement for Council's consideration; and WHEREAS, said agreement was transmitted to the City Council together with a report from the Director of Engineering Services of July 20, 1977 relating to Mr. Beratlis's request for a temporary water service; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of July 25, 1977 held a public hearing as required by Section 2-16.26 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves a temporary water service to an 8.34 acre parcel of land on Crellin Road in the unincorporated area subject to the execution of a contract with the City of Pleasanton sets forth the conditions under which permanent service to this area will have to be undertaken by the developer.
