CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-196 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON THE OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL UNION NO. 3 AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE PRELIMINARY 1977-78 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et. seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 19, 1977, was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of July 25, 1977; and WHEREAS, there are employees not represented by the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 to whom the City Council wishes to provide salary adjust- ments and benefits in order that all employees are treated fairly; and WHEREAS, the City Council on May 16, 1977, by Resolution No. 77-143, approved the City Manager's proposed Preliminary Budget for the 1977-78 Fiscal Year. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 dated July 19, 1977, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference
