CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-191 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY AGRICULTURAL FAIR ASSOCIATION FOR THE YOUNG <br />CALIFORNIA BUILDING FOR TENNIS FACILITIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Agricultural <br />Fair Association previously entered into a lease agreement <br />whereby the City would lease the Young California Building <br />for the purposes of establishing indoor tennis courts to <br />be operated by the City for the term August 17, 1976 through <br />May 31, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City and Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association <br />are interested in entering into another lease of the same <br />facility for the same purposes, said lease to run from <br />August 1, 1977, through March 31, 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />a copy of the proposed lease between the parties was <br />submitted to the City Council at its meeting of July 25, <br />1977, for its consideration. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute a lease agreement between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Agricultural <br /> Fair Association entitled, "Lease Agreement Tennis Facilities, <br /> Young California Building Alameda County Fairgrounds" for <br /> the period August 1, 1977 through March 31, 1978, excluding <br /> the month of December, 1977. <br /> <br />Section 2.
