CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-188 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO THE LAV~1~A JOINT <br />EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREM~ENT AS REQUEST~U BY THE CITY OF <br />LIVERMORE <br /> <br />on May 9, 1977 the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, by Resolu- <br />tion No. 77-140 (A Resolution Approving Amendments to the Livermore- <br />Amador Valley Water Management Agency Joint Exercise of Powers Agree- <br />ment), approved modifications to the LAV'~I~A Joint Exercise of Powers <br />Agreement as agreed upon at a joint meeting of the LAVM~A Board and <br />the legislative bodies for the agencies c~'prising LAV~q4A; and <br /> <br />subsequently, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton approved, by <br />Resolution No. 77-156 (A Resolution Approving Amendments to the <br />Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency Joint Exercise of <br />Powers Agreement) , certain amendments to the modifications requested <br />by Valley Cul,~lnity Services District; end <br /> <br />the City of Livermore advised the City Attorney of Pleasanton, by let- <br />ter of May 24, 1977, of additional minor changes to the LAV~I~A - JPA <br />which were desired by the City of Livermore; and <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at its meeting of July 11, <br />1977 considered a report of July 6, 1977 frcfn the City Attorney re- <br />garding the minor mDdifications desired by the City of Livermore. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. City Council approves the inclusion in the modifications to the <br /> LAVP~LA Joint Exercise of Powers Agreenent, the minor amendments re- <br /> quested by the City of Livermore as more particularly set forth in <br /> the letter of May 24, 1977 frftm the City Attorney of Livermore to the <br /> City Attorney of Pleasanton, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incor- <br /> porated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute the final modifications to the <br /> Joint Exercise of Powers Agreem~ent, including the amendments requested <br /> by the City of Livermore, once said modifications have been approved <br /> by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Section 3.
