CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-183 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FOR CETA TITLE VI FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />on September 1, 1976, the City of Pleasanton and the <br />County of Alameda entered into a contract for the <br />administration of the Comprehensive Employment and <br />Training Act (CETA) program funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the amendment governs receipt by the City of Pleasanton <br />of an additional $52,021 under the second round of fund- <br />ing of the CETA Title VI program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these additional monies are being used to hire seven (7) <br /> Laborers for the Department of Field Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of July 11, 1977, received <br />and reviewed a report dated July 5, 1977, along with the <br />amendment to the contract, from the Acting City Manager. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Contract amendment with Alameda County regarding <br /> CETA VI Funding for an additional $52,021, to hire seven (7) <br /> Laborers for the Department of Field Services. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 11, 1977, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, <br />Mayor Philcox <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />LeClaire, Mercer, and <br />C PH~ <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />, Deputy City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
