CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-218 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST OF ABATE- <br />MENT OF WEEDS FOR 1977 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />abatement of weeds within the City of Pleasanton has been <br />satisfactorily completed consistent with the provisions of <br />the Government Code relating thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Marshall of the City of Pleasanton has prepared, <br />based upon information furnished by the City's contractor, <br />a list of the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds <br />upon or in front of said lots. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. No objections having been made to the itemization of <br />costs on a per lot basis of the City's weed abatement <br />program for 1976-77 and the itemization having been posted <br />consistent with the requirements of the Government Code <br />outside the City Council Chambers prior hereto, the itemi- <br />zation contained in the report of the Fire Marshall of the <br />City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated August 1, 1977, <br />is hereby confirmed and the appropriate City officers in- <br />structed to take whatever action necessary to implement <br />said confirmation including the filing of said itemization <br />of costs with the Auditor of the County of Alameda in or- <br />der that said costs be billed and collected as taxes <br />against the lots to which the costs herein approved have <br />attached as liens. <br /> <br />Section 2.
