CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-214 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR AN 8-UNIT "GARDEN COURT" HOME <br />SUBDIVISION ON THE WEST SIDE OF SONOMA DRIVE BETWEEN <br />JUNIPERO STREET AND DEVELOPED MULTIPLE LOTS TO THE <br />NORTH OF JUNIPERO STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 9, 1977, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for a development plan for <br />an 8-unit "Garden Court" home subdivision on the west side <br />of Sonoma Drive between Junipero Street and developed multi- <br />ple lots to the north of Junipero Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of August 9, 1977, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated June 23, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to the requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Determines that after reviewing the criteria for Negative <br /> Declaration and Environmental Impact Report in the City's <br /> guidelines and the initial environmental assessment that a <br /> Negative Declaration is the appropriate environmental docu- <br /> ment since the project will not have any significant effect <br /> on the environment. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determina- <br /> tion to be filed pursuant to Section 5o4(g) of Resolution No. <br /> 77-66. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
