CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-207 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />AMADOR VALLEY COMMUNITY PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE IV <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 9, 1977, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for Amador Valley Community <br />Park Improvements, Phase IV; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council at its meeting of August 9, 1977 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated July 30, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1o Determines that the Negative Declaration on Amador Valley <br /> Community Park improvements, Phase IV, based on the intitial <br /> environmental study, was the proper environmental document, <br /> and an Environmental Impact Report was not required since <br /> the project would not have any significant adverse impact <br /> on the environment. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determin- <br /> ation to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution <br /> No. 77-66. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
