CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-236 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON AND ALAMEDA COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES BUREAU <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is involved in providing through its <br />Recreation and Human Services Department programs for <br />senior citizens; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Social Services Bureau of the East Bay, Inc. is interested <br />in providing a senior citizens nutrition project within the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Social Services Bureau of the East Bay, Inc. has worked <br />with the Recreation and Social Services Department for use <br />of the Veteran's Building for said senior citizen nutrition <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an agreement leasing this Veteran's Building to the Social <br />Services Bureau has been prepared by the City Attorney's <br />Office; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said agreement together with a report on the program were <br />transmitted to the City Council for consideration at their <br />meeting of September 13, 1977. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute a lease agreement between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and Social Services Bureau of the East <br /> Bay, Inc. for use of the Veteran's Building for a senior <br /> citizens nutrition program. <br /> <br />Section 2.
