CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-223 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />SIGN CHECKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Clayton E. Brown did assume the position of City Manager <br /> of the City of Pleasanton on July 11, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, authority to sign warrants resides presently in the former <br /> Acting City Manager, Alan B. Campbell, and the City Trea- <br /> surer, John Wipfli; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to insure the validity of warrants issued by the <br /> City of Pleasanton, it is necessary to authorize the City <br /> Manager to sign the same. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- <br />SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the City Manager, Clayton E. Brown, to co-sign, <br /> with the City Treasurer,warrants issued on behalf of the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 2.
