CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-259 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PARADE PERMIT FOR <br />FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of September 20, 1977, <br />received a report from Assistant to the City Manager, <br />Mr. James Walker, regarding a parade application from <br />the Foothill High School Band Boosters Club; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said application requested permission to conduct a par- <br /> ade on October 29, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the report recommended that the City amend its budget <br />to pay for police and field services expenses of approxi- <br />mately $998.00 associated with the parade; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council deliberated on whether or not the City <br />should require Foothill Band's Boosters Club to reim- <br />burse the City for the City's expenses set forth above. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- <br />SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Approves an application by Foothill High School Band <br /> Boosters Club for a parade to be held in the City of <br /> Pleasanton on October 29, 1977, as more particularly de- <br /> lineated in the report of September 19, 1977 attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A, <br /> subject to all conditions of approval included in said <br /> report. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City budget for fiscal year 1977-78 is amended by <br /> allocating from the unallocated reserve an amount neces- <br /> sary to pay for the expenses of the Police Department and <br /> Field Services Department for costs incurred in relation- <br /> ship to the parade to be held by the Foothill High School <br /> Band Boosters Club on October 29, 1977. <br /> <br />Section 3.
