CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-257 <br />A RESOLUTION APPEALING TO TBE CITY COUNCIL DESIGN REVIEW <br />CASE NUMBER Z-77-125 (PLEASANTON SKATEWORLD SIGN) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of September 20, 1977 received <br />a report from the Director of Planning advising the City <br />Council of actions taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design <br />Review Board and Planning Commission at their various meet- <br />ings of September 14, 1977; and <br />WHEREAS, among the items approved by the Design Review Board was <br />Case No. Z-77-125 a sign identifying Skateworld at 7083 John- <br />son Industrial Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember Brandes requested that the City Council appeal <br />said approval to the City Council for their consideration. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council, pursuant to Section 2-5.09, <br />_ ("Within 15 days following a decision of the Planning <br />Commission or the Board of Adjustment on a matter <br />on which a public hearing is required by this chapter, <br />or at its next regular meeting, whichever is later, <br />the City Council may elect to review the action of <br />the Commission or the Board of Adjustment. If the <br />Council elects to review an action and declines to <br />confirm the decision, a public hearing shall be held <br />by the Council. The hearing shall be set and notice <br />given as prescribed in Section 2-5.08 of this Code.") <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton does hereby .appeal to itself the approval by the <br />Design Review Board of Case Z-77-125 (Identifying a sign <br />for Skateworld at 7082 Johnson Industrial Drive). <br />Section 2.
