CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-256 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING VARIOUS STRUCTURES AS HIS- TORIC STRUCTURES PURSUANT TO THE HISTORICAL OVERLAY DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has designated itself as the interim Historical Landmark Advisory Com- mittee; and WHEREAS, a function of the committee is to designate historic struc- tures in the City of Pleasanton pursuant to the criteria set forth in Sections 2-9.14.1 and 2-9.16.1; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with various buildings in the City of Pleasanton of a historic nature; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate various buildings in the City of Pleasanton which should be included within the provisions of the Historical Overlay District; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton Bicentennial Committee had under- taken a review of various building in the City of Pleas- anton of a historic nature. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council sitting as the Historical Landmark Ad- visory Committee does determine that the following buildings in the City of Pleasanton are historic and subject to the provisions of the Historical Overlay District: (1) Southern Pacific Railroad Station Neal Street, Pleasanton (2) Presbyterian Church Corner of First Street and Neal Street (3) Structures identified as historic struc- tures by the Pleasanton Bicentennial Com- mittee as more particularly set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2. The historic structures listed in Section 1. above are judged by the standards set forth in Sections 2-9.14.1 and 2-9.16.1 and found to include most but not all of the six criteria set forth in Section 2-9.14.1 and all of the criteria set forth in Section 2-9.16.1
