CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-246 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITS FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-78AND AMENDING THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BUDGET ACCORDINGLY. WHEREAS, the City Council on August 9, 1977, by Resolution No. 77-212 approved a final budget for fiscal year 1977-78; and WHEREAS, the budget as adopted did not reflect a salary increase for the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 77-171 established its policy to provide a retroactive salary increase to the City Attorney to July 1, 1977 when said salary was estab- lished; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Attorney shall receive a salary of $2,667.00 per month for fiscal year 1977-78. Said salary shall be computed as of July 1, 1977. Section 2. The City Attorney shall be entitled to the following fringe benefits during fiscal year 1977-78: (a) Fully paid medical, dental, longterm disability and life insurance premiums. (b) Two days administrative leave per fiscal year not to be taken in conjunction with annual vacation and to be reimbursed at the end of the fiscal year if not taken. (c) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation, said payment to be made at the end of the calendar year provided the City Attorney's current year's vacation entitlement has been used and provided that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess of twenty (20) days. (d) Payroll deduction if the City Attorney wishes to join and participate in the City and County Credit Union. (e) Deletion of each statewide election day as a holiday, substituting therefor one (1) floating holiday to be credited City Attorney on July 1 of each year. Said floating holiday to be observed in the fiscal year in which it is credited. (f) Unrestricted use of a vehicle provided by the City, provided the City Attorney shall pay for gasoline related to personal use thereof and for license of said vehicle. City shall pay all other costs related to use of said vehicle by the City Attorney. Section 3. The 1977-78 fiscal year budget of the City of Pleasanton is amended accordingly.
