WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFONRIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-277 <br /> <br />APPROVING CHANGES TO THE POLICY OF REGIONAL WATER <br />QUALITY CONTROL BOARD AS PROPOSED BY CITY MANAGER'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />City staff received and reviewed a draft policy of the <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board regarding new <br />discrete sewerage facilities; and <br /> <br />the Regional Water Quality Control Board considered this <br />draft policy at their meeting of September 20, 1977, and <br />continued the matter until October 18, 1977, to allow for <br />additional comment from local agencies; and <br /> <br />this draft policy addresses the issue of package treatement <br />plants in much the same manner as the recent study done by <br />the Alameda County Planning Commission to which the City <br />Council has responded; and <br /> <br />the Regional Board's draft policy regarding package treat- <br />ment plants is of significant importance to the City; and <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of October 11, 1977, <br />received and reviewed a report dated October 7, 1977, <br />from the City Manager regarding the Draft Policy of <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board regarding package <br />treatment plants. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the changes to the policy as proposed in the <br /> report of the City Manager dated October 7,1977, regarding <br /> new Discrete Sewage Facilities. <br /> <br />Section 2. Instructing staff to transmit to the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board the City's policy regarding package <br /> treatment plants and position on draft policy. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
