CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-276 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER FOR TREE <br />PLANTING ON SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of October 11, 1977, received <br />a report of October 3, 1977 from the Director of Engineering <br />Services regarding the planting of trees in the median divider <br />being constructed on Santa Rita Road in conjunction with the <br />Valley Avenue - Santa Rita Road Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was recommended to the City Council that a change order <br />be approved in order to allow Oliver de Silva, Inc., the <br />general contractor on the Valley Avenue - Santa Rita Road <br />Project, make a change to the manner in which the proposed <br />street trees were originally going to be planted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the change order in the work to be performed by <br /> Oliver de Silva, Inc., general contractor on the Valley Avenue <br /> Santa Rita Road Project in the amount of $15,217.95 for work <br /> to be performed for the planting of twenty-five (25) London <br /> Plane (Platanus Acerifolia) trees in the median area between <br /> Black Avenue and Mohr Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 11, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Her~hy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> Mayor Philco <br />NOES: None ~,~ ~ <br />ABSENT: None ~~6~t t ~ay~o'~ <br /> OBE~T C.
