CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77~272 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF A ZONING PERMIT FOR A SIGN IDENTIFYING SKATE WORLD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Design Review Board at its meeting of September 14, 1977, <br />approved a 192 sq. ft. free-standing sign to identify Skate <br />World, located at 7082 Johnson Industrial Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of September 20, 1977, ap- <br /> pealed that decision by Resolution No. 77-257; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 11, 1977, the City Council received <br />a report of October 5, 1977 from the Director of Planning to <br />which was appended the Staff Report to the Design Review Board <br />of September 14, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council conducted a public hearing at which time any <br />member of the public was offered an opportunity to address the <br />City Council regarding said appeal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />upon close of the public hearing the City Council deliberated <br />upon the information received at the public hearing and the <br />contents of the Staff Report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOE RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the appeal of zoning permit for a 192 sq. ft. free- <br /> standing sign identifying Skate World. <br /> <br />Section 2.
