CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-271 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MORRISON HOMES <br />FOR AUTHORIZATION TO REMOVE SEVEN HERITAGE TREES IN TRACT <br />3359, CREEKS BEND, PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Section 2-17.01, Article 1, Chapter 10, Title II of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton requires that prior <br />to the removal of any Heritage Tree a permit must be obtained <br />from the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />MacKay & Somps, on behalf of their client, Morrison Homes, <br />has made application to the City for approval to remove seven <br />Heritage Trees in connection with improvements for Tract 3359, <br />Creeks Bend, Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of October 11, 1977, <br />considered the report of the Director of Engineering Services <br />dated September 7, 1977, recommending approval of the applica- <br />tion. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby grants permission to Morrison Homes <br /> to remove the seven Heritage Trees referred to in the report <br /> of the Director of Engineering Services dated October 11, 1977, <br /> and described as follows: <br /> <br />1. Two 18" diameter Black Walnut trees. <br />2. One 12" diameter Acacia tree. <br />3. One 24" Black Walnut tree within future street. <br />4. One 40" diameter California Sycamore with burned <br /> out center. <br />5. One 50" diameter California Sycamore. <br />6. One 28" diameter Black Walnut to be saved if <br /> possible by building retaining wall and meandering <br /> sidewalk. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 11, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
