CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-298 <br /> <br />APPROVING APPLICATION OF MR. & MRS. WILLIAM OSTLE FOR <br />AUTHORIZATION TO REMOVE ONE HERITAGE TREE, A LARGE PALM <br />TREE, AT 101 NEAL STREET, PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Section 2-17.01, Article 1, Chapter 10, Title II of the Ordi- <br />nance Code of the City of Pleasanton requires that prior to <br />the removal of any Heritage Tree, a permit must be obtained <br />from the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. William Ostle has made application to the City <br />for approval to remove one Heritage Tree, a large palm tree, <br />located at 101 Neal Street, Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at their meeting of November 8, 1977, con- <br /> sidered said application and approved same. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby grants permission to Mr. & Mrs. <br />William Ostle to remove the Heritage Tree referred to in the <br />report of the Director of Engineering Services dated November 1, <br />1977, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 8, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: None ~~,~May~o <br />ATTEST: <br /> COX, Mayo <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
