CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-295 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF HOLDING TANK <br />APPROVAL FOR PLEASANTON GARBAGE SERVICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Garbage Service has a holding tank authorized <br /> by the City Council by Resolution No. 77-52; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the sewer service agreement executed between the City of <br />Pleasanton and Pleasanton Garbage Service terminated on <br />or about November 1, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service requested a renewal of said <br />agreement for a one year term as provided in City Council <br />Resolution No. 77-52; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of November 8, 1977 con- <br />sidered a report of October 31, 1977 from the Director of <br />Engineering Services regarding the renewal of Pleasanton <br />Garbage Service's request for holding tank approval. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes a modification to that certain agreement entered <br /> into between Pleasanton Garbage Service and the City of Pleas- <br /> anton dated February 28, 1977, for an additional one year period <br /> terminating on November 1, 1978. <br /> <br />Section 2. Said renewal of agreement is subject to the following con- <br /> ditions: <br /> <br />That the holding tank be pumped out (emptied) at least one <br />time every month or in accordance with the current City <br />policy regarding the frequency of pumping. <br /> <br />That renewal request, together with the appropriate re- <br />newal fee, be transmitted to the City at least one month <br />prior to expiration date of November 1, 1978. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 8, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, IeClaire, Mercer and <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk .~ _ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
