CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-290 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES WITH TJKM IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT, SANTA RITA ROAD AND WEST LAS <br />POSITAS BOULEVARD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />one of the capital improvement projects in the 1977-78 fiscal <br />year budget is the installation of traffic signals at the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boule- <br />vard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a proposal for the provision of consultant services in con- <br />junction with the installation of said traffic signal was <br />sought from TJKM, Planning and Transportation Consultants <br />in order to provide necessary design services for the subject <br />traffic signal; and ~ ' <br /> <br />TJKM has been involved in the, design of all recent traffic <br />signal installations in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a proposed agreement between the City of Pleasanton and TJKM <br />was submitted to the City Cohncil, together with a Staff Report <br />of October 19, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council considered said Staff Report and proposed <br />agreement at its meeting of October 25, 1977; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the execution by the mayor, subject to approval <br /> of the City Attorney, of an agreement with TJKM for the pro- <br /> vision of all consultant services necessary to design a traffic <br /> signal installation at Santa Rita and West Las Positas Boule- <br /> vard for a fee not to exceed $6,100.00. <br /> <br />Section 2.
