CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-284 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING PLEASANTON RESIDENTS TO SERVE <br />ON THE HISTORICAL LANDMARK OVERLAY DISTRICT ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, cn February 26, 1973, adopted Ordinance <br />No. 691 establishing a Historical Landmark Overlay Zoning <br />District a.nd providing for the appointment of Pleasanton <br />residents to serve on a Historical Landmark Advisory <br />Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of October 25, 1977, the City <br />Manager presented his report dated October 20, 1977 regard- <br />ing this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Councilmembers then recommended and considered certain <br />appointees and their background which would qualify them <br />to serve as members of the Historical Landmark Advisory <br />Committee; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Appoints the following residents of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to serve on the Historical Landmark Overlay District <br /> Advisory Committee for a term of two years each: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />PAUL LARSON appointed to the Committee due <br />to his involvement with the Historical Society <br />and qualifications in his resum~ to Council. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />DOROTHY DAVIS appointed to the Committee due <br />to her past involvement with the Pleasanton <br />Bicentennial Heritage Committee and qualifica- <br />tions in her resum~ to Council. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />LORETTA LUND appointed to the Committee due <br />to her past membership on the Bicentennial <br />Heritage Committee and other qualifications <br />set forth in her resum~ to Council. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />WILLIAM APPERSON appointed to the Committee <br />due to his long involvement in the Historical <br />Society as a member and past president. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> <br />
