CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-307 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES <br />SUGGESTED BY THE CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING AMEND- <br />MENT TO THE FISCAL 1977-78 BUDGET TO REFLECT SALARY <br />CHANGES AS A RESULT OF SAID ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Manager submitted to the Council at its meeting of <br />November 8, 1977, a report of October 28, 1977, setting forth <br />various organizational changes in the City Organizational <br />Structure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said organizational changes will place increased responsibility <br />on certain management employees who salaries were established <br />by Resolution No. 77-232; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-232 authorized an increase in salaries for <br />management employees whom the City Manager upon reorganization <br />deem to require salary adjustments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deliberated upon the City Manager's report <br /> and recommendations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the organizational changes recom~.ended by the City <br /> Manager except that the proposed Department of Planning and <br /> Community Environment shall remain the Department of Planning <br /> and Community Development. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City Manager and the City Attorney to prepare <br /> appropriate ordinance amendments to carry out the approved <br /> organizational changes and to make such other revisions to <br /> the ordinance code as the City Attorney and the City Manager <br /> deem necessary in this regard. <br /> <br />Section 3. Amends the fiscal year 1977-78 budget as follows: <br /> <br />Director of Planning and Community Development <br />(Director of Planning) shall receive a salary increase frc~a <br />$2,183.00 to $2,375.00 per month. <br /> <br />The Director of Recreation and Human Resources shall <br />receive a salary increase from $1,864.00 to $1,950.00 <br />per month. <br /> <br />Assistant to the City Manager - Finance and Central <br />Services shall receive a salary increase from $2,130.00 <br />per month to $2,275.00 per month. <br /> <br />d.
