CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-306 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHARGE FOR ZONE 7 WATER OF $128.00 PER ACRE FOOT FOR 1978 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has a contract with Zone 7 by which Zone 7 supplies water at a certain rate to the City of Pleas- anton; and WHEREAS, Zone 7 made its calculations pursuant to the 1974 formula for 1978 which would have required a $48.50 increase over the $120.00 rate for 1977; and WHEREAS, the Zonehas advised that the rate indicated for 1978 is higher than necessary to meet Zone 7 needs and therefore, at its meeting of October 18, 1977, the Zone 7 Board set a rate of $128.00 per acre foot as the price fQr water for 1978 subject to approval by all retailers, including the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, the City Council received a report o~ November 3, 1977 from the City Manager regarding said rat~in~rease together with letters between the City Manager and ~Zone 7 r~ati~g to said rate increase and a copy of Resolution No. 834 of the Board of Directors of Zone 7 regarding the 1978 water rate; and WHEREAS, the City Council deliberated upon the information contained in the City Manager's staff report of November 3, 1977 and attachments thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves for calendar year, 1978, a charge of $128.00 per acre foot for water received from Zone 7. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
