CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-022 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A PORTION OF FORMER <br />RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY ADJACENT TO STONERIDGE <br />DRIVE AND NORTHEAST OF SUTTER GATE PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 7, 2000, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the acquisition of a portion of former railroad right of way adjacent <br />to Stoneridge Drive and northeast of SuRer Gate Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 23, 1999, and <br /> received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />oppommity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed acquisition; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potemial impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed acquisition would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
