CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-023 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />SIGN A PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND AN EASEMENT <br />AGREEMENT REGARDING PROPERTY ON STONERIDGE <br />DRIVE AT SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 7, 2000, the City Council received a staff report from the <br /> Director of Public Works (SR 00:054) regarding acquisition of property located <br /> adjacent to Stoneridge Drive and northeast of Sutter Gate Road; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Authorizes the City Manager to sign a Purchase Agreement with Prudential <br />Insurance Company, a copy of which Agreement is attached. <br /> <br />Authorizes the City Manager to sign an Easement Agreement with Zone 7, a copy <br />of which Agreement is attached, which Agreement will contribute $168,000 <br />towards the purchase price, in exchange for the grant of an easement to maintain <br />up to two water well facilities, related pumping stations and pipelines on the <br />property. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Appropriates funds from the NPID local street improvement fund to acquire the <br />property. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
