CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-339 <br /> <br />INITIATING REZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 60-ACRE PARCEL OF <br />LAND LOCATED BETWEEN CRELLIN AND THE CITY LIMIT LINE <br />AT THE END OF ARBOR DRIVE FROM R-1-6500 AND R-I-20,000 <br />TO HPD (HILLSIDE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the approximately 60 acre parcel of land located between <br />Crellin Road and the City limit line at the end of Arbor <br />Drive in Vintage Hills was at one time under option by <br />H.C. Elliott, Inc. for inclusion as part of their Vintage <br />Hills subdivision, but was never developed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that option has since been dropped by H. C~ Elliott; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1-6500 and R-i-20,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the property ownership has recently changed hands and the <br />new owners have submitted a preliminary map and grading <br />plan, which is inappropriate for the steepness of the <br />property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of December 13, 1977, <br />received a report dated December 7, 1977, from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development in which <br />staff recommends that Council initiate a rezoning of <br />the property to HPD (Hillside Planned Development). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1.
