CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-19 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-77-15, MOBIL OIL CORP. TO lIEZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5311 HOPYARD RD. FROM C-F (COMMERCIAL FREEWAY) TO C-S (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of January 24, 1978 received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-77-15, Mobil Oil Corporation to Rezone Property located at 5311 Hopyard Rd. fr m C-F (Commercial Freeway) to C-S (Commercial Service) o District (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and WHEREAS, ~PHEREAS , WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed rezoning is a pro- ject for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines.and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City o~ Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was pre- pared for~he Project; and the City Council, at its meeting of January 24, 1978 also received that Initial Study dated January 3, 1978; and WHEREAS, each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the pro- posed environmental assessment, which had been published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and ~HEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed Project to rezone the property at 5311 Hopyard Road from C-F (Commer7 cial Freeway) to C-S (Commercial Service) District would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared. Sect'ion 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Deter- mination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
