CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE HOPYARD ROAD WIDENING PROJECT N0. 77-9 AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALLING FOR BIDS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services by his report dated <br />January 3, 1978, advised the City Council that plans and <br />specifications have been completed and reviewed by staff <br />the Hopyard Road Widening, Project No. 77-9; and <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of January 10, 1978, <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Engineering Services <br />dated January 3, 1978, relating to this project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the plans and specifications for the Hopyard Road <br /> Widening, Project No. 77-9, as recommended by the Director <br /> of Engineering Services in his report dated January 3, 1978. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JANUARY 10, 1978 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herl hy, Mercer and Mayor Philcox <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br /> RO .
