CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-37 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED UNDER THE <br />FEDERAL-AID URBAN SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 75-33, adopted on February 24, 1975, the <br />City Council approved the Federal-Aid Urban System and the <br />urban boundaries depicted on the maps attached as Exhibit A <br />tO said resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services has recommended a revised <br />list of projects to be completed in Pleasanton's five-year <br />Federal-Aid Urban System Program funded under the provisions <br />of Section 142 of Title 23 United States Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the following projects to be completed in the <br /> City of Pleasanton's five-year Federal Aid Urban System to <br /> be funded under the provisions of Section 142 of Title 23 <br /> United States Code: <br /> <br />(A) <br /> <br /> FAU Funds <br />The installation of a signal light at the <br />corner of First Street and Neal Street. <br />(Complete) $ 41,500 <br /> <br />(B) <br /> <br />Construction of intersection improvements <br />and signalization at the intersection of <br />Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road. <br /> (98% Complete) <br /> <br />$164,500 <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Construction of vehicular overcrossing <br />over Route 1-680 at West Las Positas <br />Boulevard with Pedestrian and Bicycle <br />facilities. <br /> <br />$278,446 <br /> <br />(D) <br /> <br />Improvements to West Las Positas <br />Boulevard and Foothill Road needed <br />in conjunction with Project 3 above. <br /> <br />$ 93,377 <br />$577,823 <br /> <br />Section 2.
