CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-33 APPOINTMENT OF REMAINING ELECTION OFFICERS WHEREAS, Elections Code §22805 and §22834 require that the City Council appoint precincT election officers, designate polling places, and publish a notice indicating names of said election officers and polling places designated for each election precinct; and WHEREAS , the City Council at its meeting of February 2, 1978, appointed a partial list of persons as election officers for the March 7, 1978, Municipal Election, pursuant to Resolution No. 78-29; and WHEREAS, the remaining necessary number of persons to serve as election officers have been secured; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint these additional persons as election officers. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference is a list of the precincts, precinct election officers and designated polling places for the up coming March 7, 1978, election. The persons, with an asterisk by their name, set forth in this list are hereby appointed and designated by the City Council as the remaining precinct officers for the general municipal election to be held in the City of Pleasanton on Tuesday, March 7, 1978. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
