CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-30 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING CLAIMS FROM JANUARY 1, 1978 <br />THROUGH JANUARY 31, 1978 IN THE AMOUNT OF $400,555.30 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of February 15, 1978, a check <br />register was presented to the City Council signifying checks <br />which were dispensed from January 1, 1978 through January 31, <br />1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the claims contained therein were for approved functions <br />the City which are necessary and proper expenses of the <br />City; and <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the meeting a report entitled "Financial Report for the <br />Month Ending January 31, 1978" was submitted to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Claims represented by Checks No. 018454 through No. 018708 <br /> and Checks Nos. 018872-018888, dated from January 1, 1978 <br /> through January 31, 1978, in the total amount of $400,555.30 <br /> are hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. The financial report dated January 31, 1978 has been <br /> reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 15, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer and Mayor Philcox <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />ROBERT C.
