CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.78-21 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF COUNCILMEMBER FRANK C. <br />BRANDES,JR., FROM A DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />APPROVING CASE V-77-18, AND APPLICATION FOR A PROPOSED <br />ADDITION TO THE OFFICE BUILDING LOCATED AT 147 BERNAL AVENUE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />William A. Hirst made application for a variance to certain <br />sections of!the City Ordinance Code to allow the construction <br />of addition to the office building at 147 Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Board of Adjustment, at its meeting of January 11, 1978, <br />received a staff report on the application, an environmental <br />impact report prepared for the project and testimony from the <br />applicant and the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Councilmember Frank C. Brandes, Jr. requested a hearing before <br />the City Council on the action of the Board of Adjustment ap- <br />proving the application of William A. Hirst, Case V-77-18; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its January 24, 1978, meeting received <br />a report from the Director of Planning dated January 17, 1978, <br />and at a public hearing took testimony from the applicant, <br />staff, and the public. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the appeal of Councilmember Frank C. Brandes, Jr. <br /> from a decision of the Board of Adjustment approving Case <br /> V-77-18, an application for a proposed addition to the office <br /> building located at 147 Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2.
