CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-54 RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RILEY'S STRIPING SERVICE, INC., FOR INSTALLATION OF THERMO- PLASTIC LIMIT LINES AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS - PROJECT 77-11 WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for the instal- lation of Thermoplastic Limit Lines and Pavement Markings - Project 77-11; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code No. 37900, et seq., the City Engineering Services Department advertised for bids re- garding this project; and WHEREAS, bids were received on March 2, 1978, and it was determined that Riley's Striping Service, Inc., was the lowest responsi- ble bidder; and WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering Services, in his report dated March 3, 1978, recommended that said bid be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The bid of Riley's Striping Service, Inc., in the amount of $68,840.00 for the construction of the Thermoplastic Limit Lines and Pavement Markings - Project 77-11, is hereby ac- cepted by City Council as the lowest responsible bid. Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with Riley's Striping Service, Inc., for the improvements specified above. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
