CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-51 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 6, 1978, re- <br />ceived a proposed negative declaration for the Residential <br />Allocation Program (hereinafter referred to as the <br />Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed Residential Al- <br />location Program is a project for the purposes of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was pre- <br />pared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of March 6, 1978 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated March 6, 1978; and <br /> <br />WHE REA S, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been publish- <br />ed in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general cir- <br />culation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br /> The Council determines that the proposed would not have <br />any significant adverse effects on the environment and <br />therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br /> The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Deter- <br />mination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g) of <br />Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON MARCH 6, 1978, AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
