CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-45 APPROVING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR PUD-77-7 AND FINDING SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS OF PROJECT WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of February 28, 1978, the Final Environmental Impact Report and Staff reports were received and reviewed by the Council regarding the appli- cation of Robert J. Meyers, for a Planned Unit Development to rezone a 12.7 acre site located immediately south of the terminus of Las Lomitas Drive and east of Pleasanton School from the A (Agricultural) District to the P(Planned Unit Development-Medium Density Residential) District and to approve the development plan for the construction of a ll9-unit limited care retirement facility on the site; and WHEREAS, a public hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report was held by the City Council at their meeting of February 28, 1978, which was continued to March 1, 1978, due to unfortunate circumstances, at which time members of the public were given an opportunity to speak in favor of or in opposition of the Environmental Impact Report; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Environmental Impact Report and found it in compliance with CEQA and State guidelines. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Certifies that the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Environmental Impact Report and found it in compliance with CEQA and State guidelines. Section 2. Find that the project would have a significant impact on the environment (said impacts identified on Page 38 of the Environmental Impact Report attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference). Section 3. Find that the boundary of the impacts include the area of the City of Pleasanton described as the southeast quadrant of the City. Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. III
