CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-79 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF FOOTHILL <br />ROAD FROM FAI 580 TO SOUTHERLY OF STONERIDGE DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton, at its meeting of <br />April 25, 1978, considered the proposed Agreement Between <br />The County Of Alameda And City Of Pleasanton For The Improve- <br />ment Of A Portion Of Foothill Road From FAI-580 To Southerly <br />Of Stoneridge Drive; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said agreement sets forth the financial participation in <br />the Foothill Road improvement project of both City and <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and County are authorized to enter such agreements <br /> pursuant to Government Code ~6500, et seq. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council approves the agreement with Alameda <br /> County setting forth the financial participation in the <br /> Foothill Road improvement project entitled Agreement <br /> Between The County Of Alameda And City Of Pleasanton For <br /> The Improvement Of A Portion Of Foothill Road From FAI-580 <br /> To Southerly Of Stoneridge Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Mayor of the City Of Pleasanton is authorized to <br /> execute said agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 25, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, BUtler, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~.~ <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: R.
