RESOLUTION NO. 78-86 RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-1, STONERIDGE CENTER The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: This City Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to ordering the improvement in Assessment District No. 1974-1, and now makes the following findings and orders: 1. The City Council adopted a map showing the boundaries of the land benefited by the proposed improvement. A copy of the boundary map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment Districts. 2. The City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention to. order the improvement described therein under the Municipal Improve- ment Act of 1913, and directed MACKAY & SOMPS, as the Engineer of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the report required by Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code. The Resolution of Intention was later amended. The improvement is generally described as follows: The construction and reconstruction of a portion of Foothill Road including clearing and grading, sub-base, base, asphaltic concrete pavement, A.C. berms, pavement striping and traffic signs, and curb and gutters; storm drainage facilities,'in- c!uding conduit, storm water inlets, manholes, temporary inlet structures, and temporary ditching; irrigation facilities and landscaping including all piping, valves'and appurtenances and all plants, shrubs, and trees; street signalization systems, underground and/or overhead electrical and gas facilities and underground telephone system, including all necessary appur- tenances; concret~ retaining wall; bicycle path; and all other improvements and appurtenances for the completion of the public improvements in Assessment District No. 1974-1; together with the acquisition of any rights-of-way or land necessary thereto. -1-
