RESOLUTION NO. 78-86 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT AND <br /> ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-1, STONERIDGE CENTER <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> This City Council has taken a series of actions preliminary <br />to ordering the improvement in Assessment District No. 1974-1, <br />and now makes the following findings and orders: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council adopted a map showing the boundaries of <br />the land benefited by the proposed improvement. A copy of the <br />boundary map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the <br />County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment Districts. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention to. <br />order the improvement described therein under the Municipal Improve- <br />ment Act of 1913, and directed MACKAY & SOMPS, as the Engineer of Work <br />for the assessment district, to prepare the report required by Section <br />10204 of the Streets and Highways Code. The Resolution of Intention <br />was later amended. The improvement is generally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The construction and reconstruction of a portion of Foothill <br />Road including clearing and grading, sub-base, base, asphaltic <br />concrete pavement, A.C. berms, pavement striping and traffic <br />signs, and curb and gutters; storm drainage facilities,'in- <br />c!uding conduit, storm water inlets, manholes, temporary <br />inlet structures, and temporary ditching; irrigation facilities <br />and landscaping including all piping, valves'and appurtenances <br />and all plants, shrubs, and trees; street signalization systems, <br />underground and/or overhead electrical and gas facilities and <br />underground telephone system, including all necessary appur- <br />tenances; concret~ retaining wall; bicycle path; and all <br />other improvements and appurtenances for the completion of <br />the public improvements in Assessment District No. 1974-1; <br />together with the acquisition of any rights-of-way or land <br />necessary thereto. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
