CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-118 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING APPLICATION RZ-77-21. WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, The City Council, at its meeting of May 9, 1978, received a proposed negative declaration for the rezoning of an approximately 60 acres of land located between Crellin Road and the City Limit line at the end of Arbor Drive, from the R-1-6500 and R-I-20,000 (Single Family Residential) Districts to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District; and Said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution 77-66; and The City Council, at its meeting of May 9, 1978, received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Cormnunity Development dated April 5, 1978, regarding the proposed rezoning; and The City Council was advised by the City Attorney of their responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Sections 5.4(e) of Resolution 77-66; and Each member of the City Council had before them copies of Resolution 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and The public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had previousiF been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the rezoning proposal; and upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the City Council reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
