CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-104 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RAP ALLOCATION FOR 1978 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing regarding the <br />number of residential units to allocate for building <br />in the year 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received public testimony and a staff <br />report concerning (a) the number of new units necessary to <br />grow per the General Plan growth rate policies, (b) sewage <br />treatment capacity available for 1978, (c) the history of <br />past growth and authorized but undeveloped units, (d) pos- <br />sible development arising from exempt projects and/or liti- <br />gation, (e) the progress toward meeting the single family/ <br />multiple residential housing mix policy of the General Plan, <br />and (f) the single.family/multiple residential housing mix <br />contained in the DSRSD allocation priority schedules; and <br /> <br />the City ~ <br /> CoUncil, after due consideration of the above, <br />finds that allocating 250 units would meet the General <br />Plan growth policies for the year 1978. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That 250 units be allocated for development in 1978. <br /> <br />Section 2. That 25 of the above units be set aside for qualifying <br /> lower income projects. <br /> <br />Section 3. That of the remaining 225 units, three-fourths (3/4) <br /> shall be allocated for single family projects and one-fourth <br /> (1/4) for multiple residential unit projects. <br /> <br />Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 25, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes and Butle <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> RCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />Clay~E.
