CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-137 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PLEASANTON SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK MASTER PLAN WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of May 23, 1978, received a proposed ~egative declaration for the Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Master Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and WHEREAS, WHEREAS staff has determined that the proposed Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Master Plan is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and an Initial Study dons pursuant to the E~vironmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by'Resolution No. 77-66 was pre- pared for the Project; and WHEREAS WHEREAS the City Council, at;its meeting of May 23, 1978 also received that Initial Study dated May 17, 1978; and each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the p~posed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Master Plan Project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and there- fore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared. Section 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Deter- mination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. III
