CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.78-156 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO REZONE <br />A 3.8 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF SANTA RITA <br />ROAD IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF THE ARROYO MOCHO FROM RM-2500 <br />(MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE C-N (COM- <br />MERCIAL NEIGHBORHOOD) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of June 13, 1978, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for an application to rezone <br />a 3.8 acre parcel located on the east side of Santa Rita <br />Road im~mediately north of the Arroyo Mocho from RM-2500 <br />(~ltiple Family Residential) District to the C-N (Commercial <br />Neighborhood) District (hereinafter referred to as the Project); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application to rezone <br />the 3.8 acre parcel is a project for the purposes of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 13 1978, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated June 1, ~978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. <br />77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Dec- <br />laration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed Project would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and <br /> therefore no Environmental Impact Report Shall be prepared. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
