CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-153 RE: APPROVAL OF ESCROW AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR STONERIDGE DRIVE OVERCROSSING PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton as follows: WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 74-4, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton requested an overpass project at the inter- section of Stoneridge Drive and Interstate Route 680; and WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Trans- portation, is agreeable to a separation facility at this location provided City of Pleasanton finances the total construction costs and the total costs of all right-of-way needed for this project; and WHEREAS, a mechanism is available to the City of Pleasanton to finance this project by the use of assessment districts; and WHEREAS, it is desirable and necessary to spell out in considerable detail the duties and the obligations of the City of Pleasanton and the State of California in regard to the Stoneridge Drive Overcrossing Project; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 78-68, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton approved a cooperative agreement with the State pertaining to the Stoneridge Drive Overcrossing Project. WHEREAS , an escrow agreement has been prepared to outline in con- siderable detail how the funds for this project are to be deposited with the State of California and dispersed as the project progresses. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Escrow Agreement between City of Pleasanton and State of California designated as District Agreement No. 4-0443-C as it was transmitted to them with staff report dated June 7, 1978.
