CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-163 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION TAX FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City Council, atits meeting of June 20, 1978, received a proposed negative declaration for the adoption of a Residential Construction Tax for the City of Pleasanton (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and WHEREAS, WHEREAS , staff has determined that the proposed adoption of a Residential Construction Tax for the City is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project and received by Council at its meeting of June 20, 1978; and WHEREAS, each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been pub- lished in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declara- tions and Environmental Impact Reports.
