WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-190 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST OF ABATEMENT <br /> OF WEEDS FOR 1978. <br /> <br /> abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within <br /> the City of Pleasanton has been satisfactorily completed <br /> consistent with the provisions of the Government Code <br /> relating thereto; and <br /> <br /> the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has prepared, <br /> based upon information furnished by the City's contractor, <br /> a list of the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds <br /> upon or in front of said lots; and <br /> <br /> the City Council, at their meeting of July 25, 1978, reviewed <br /> the itemization of costs which had been previously posted <br /> outside the City Council Chambers consistent with the <br /> requirements of the Government Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The itemization contained in the report of the Fire <br /> Marshal of the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated <br /> July 19, 1978, is hereby confirmed with the exception of <br /> those charges for weed removal on parcels numbers 164, <br /> 165 and 166, on which there was some question. <br /> <br />Section 2. The appropriate City Officers are instructed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to implement said confirmation <br /> including the filing of said itemization of costs with <br /> the Auditor of the County of Alameda in order that said <br /> costs be billed and collected as taxes against the lots <br /> to which the costs herein approved have attached as liens. <br /> <br />Section 3. City staff is directed to investigate the charges for <br /> weed abatement with respect to Lots 164, 165 and 166, and <br /> report back to City Council at their meeting of August 8, <br /> 1978. <br />Section 4.
